Improvement of teacher’s professional competency in strengthening learning methods to maximize curriculum implementation

<span lang="EN-US">The 2013 curriculum which has been implemented for more than six years in Indonesia many problems its application. Therefore, we need to conduct empirical research determine the causes of ineffective implementation schools. This study involved 13 high schools and vocational provinces DKI Jakarta West Java with a total 420 students, 26 teachers, principals as respondents. The employed mixed parallel method data analysis using combined qualitative quantitative approaches. found that there are still use two different curricula, school-based curriculum. In implementing curriculum, teachers required various learning scientific approach refers student-centered concepts. There is training program improve teachers’ professional competence, especially terms methods mastery.</span>
